MfG

I doubt that the author (Brown) is right with his perspective to focus so much on design! This is ignoring all the more structural dimensions of an organisation...

Althought I'm usually very sceptical about career change guidebooks, Watkins' book totally won me over. I had to manage several of these career transitions and I found very useful advice for every stage in his examples. Indeed, the checklist made me think in a more detailed and positive way about personal change.

I can really recommend this book as an useful introduction. Large group methods are definitely an essential tool for creating change in your business/community. It did help me throughout my business' change process. Plus: The case studies are all very insightful and yet quite enjoyable to read.

The workshops of the European Institute of Public Administration present good insight into the latest in public administration.

If you´re a public policy maker looking for some new tools and approaches to your work, this event might suit you just fine.
